John Wallace - Retired NBA Athlete

John Wallace, a retired American professional basketball player, has left an indelible mark both on and off the court. Born in Rochester, New York, Wallace's basketball journey took flight at Syracuse University, where he led his team to the NCAA Championship game in 1996. His collegiate success paved the way for his selection by the New York Knicks in the 1996 NBA Draft. As a forward, Wallace contributed significantly to the Knicks, showcasing his skills and dedication. His career also included stints with the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, and Miami Heat, displaying his versatility and professionalism across the league. Despite the shifts in his professional journey, his time with the Knicks remained a significant part of his career, endearing him to many fans in New York.

Furthermore, Wallace has made a seamless transition into broadcasting, serving as a voice for the Knicks on TV and radio for the last 11 years. His insights and expertise have enriched the viewing experience for basketball fans.

In addition to his broadcasting career, Wallace has been a stalwart figure in community service across New York City for the last 14 years. His commitment to community events and initiatives demonstrates his dedication to making a positive impact beyond the sports arena. He has become an executive board member of Heavenly Productions Foundation, which is a non-profit organization based in New York with the mission to help needy and distressed children. 

Wallace's passion for sports extends beyond basketball. He s an avid boxing fan and has leveraged his love for the sport by joining the advisory board of Bronx Legends Boxing, contributing to the growth and development of boxing in the community.
